Reservation and Cancellation Policies
Reservations charging 20% in Advance
A 20% deposit of the total amount of the tour is required in order to book your reservation. You´ll receive a PayPal payment form in the email you indicate, where you can pay using your debit or credit card, the balance amount should be paid in cash on the date of your service before starting.
Important: Payment through PayPal adds an extra comisión fee of 6% to the total amount.
If for any reason you decide to cancel the tour at least 12 days prior to tour day we will return the 100% reservation with no charge. Canceling due 6 days before tour day Will returns 50% of reservation.
The cancelation request, in order to proceed with the reimbursement, should be made via e-mail to email@example.com or by phone within the specified period.
Reservations canceled after 48 hours prior to hotel pickup time on the tour day or “no shows” will not be reimbursed.
Lodging, transportation, and other services subcontracted by Contoy Excursions will be ruled by the cancelation policies of such companies.
Bad weather conditions
A last-minute cancelation caused by local bad weather conditions, any local natural disaster or any government activity restriction on the tour area, will refund 100% of the amount.
After 24 hours of any payment, Paypal automatically transfers the money to our Mexican bank, as a Tax rule established by the Mexican Government, which results in a tax discount on the amount we receive in Mexico. Refund process with less than 24 hours Will did not apply any discount to the total amount, otherwise, 16% could be discounted from Mexican taxes. The refund of any payment Will be processed through Paypal and takes from 4 to 7 business days.
Neither Servicios Turísticos CCM S.A. de C.V. nor Contoy Excursions nor any other related, affiliated, associated or otherwise connected corporations, partnerships, individuals and other entities and all of their respective officers, directors employees, contractors, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the“Releasees”) will hold responsibility from any costs (including, without limitation, actual legal costs), claims, demands, actions, causes of action and liabilities whatsoever for any and all losses, damages, death or injuries to persons or loss of property, which may be sustained by us in connection with or in any way relating to any of our trips, due to any cause or reason whatsoever including, without limitation, the reckless, willful or negligent actions or omissions of the Releases or any other person or persons.
No responsibility will be held to Servicios Turisticos CCM S.A. de C.V. or Contoy Excursions for acts of God, for weather changes, political disturbance, commercial or social issues, war disturbs, demonstrations, roadblocks or causes of force majeure which might affect the operation of any of our services for being out of our control. We will do our best to substitute and/or compensate any activity that due to any of these situations could be omitted, although you understand and set free of any and all responsibility to Servicios Turisticos CCM S.A. de C.V., Contoy Excursions and nor any other related, affiliated, associated or otherwise connected corporations, partnerships, individuals and other entities and all of their respective officers, directors employees, contractors, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the“Releasees”) of any claim, reimbursement, change, cancelation, inconveniences, accidents, wounds, diseases, insects bites, animal attack, physical or material loses affecting your person, patrimony or even death which could happen on any of our activities. You understand that participation in any of our services involves risks (and rewards) above and beyond those encountered on a more conventional tour due to the nature and characteristics of our activities.
Servicios Turísticos CCM S.A. de C.V. and/or Contoy Excursions will reserve the right of admission to any of our activities and/or services to any person due to inconvenience related to alcohol abuse, drugs, disease, refuse of COVI-19 measures or any other condition which to our sole criteria we may consider inadequate to start or continue with the activity without any partial or total reimbursement
